Fare Features & Amenities

Carriers differentiate themselves by providing varying fare features and amenities, which are strongly recommended to be displayed in the search results for example as icons with descriptions. Distribusion can present this data in 2 different fields in our API responses depending on the carrier, so it is important to read the information from both fields to present the full list of features and amenities possible.

Fare Features

Fare features are supported by the vast majority of carriers.

The list of fare features available for each fare class can be found in the /marketing_carriers/{marketing_carrier_id} and in the /connections/find response when searching for a specific trip. They appear under fare_features section for each specific fare class.
