General Accreditation

Before your integration can go live, the Distribusion team performs a comprehensive review of your implementation. This mandatory accreditation process ensures that your integration meets all carrier and Distribusion standards, guaranteeing a smooth, reliable, and consistent booking experience for the end customer.

Upon completion, our team will provide a detailed report outlining any required changes, suggestions for improvement, and any clarifying questions.

What We Review

Our team performs end-to-end tests to simulate the full customer journey. While the detailed checklist is provided below, the review focuses on key areas such as:

  1. The Search and Booking Flow: We test the entire process, from searching for trips, checking vacancy, creating reservations, and confirming the booking.
  2. Display of Information: We verify that all mandatory information is correctly displayed to the user, including carrier names and logos, fare classes, all applicable T&Cs, and features or amenities for each fare.
  3. Post-Booking and Cancellations: We check the booking confirmation process, ticket retrieval, and ensure the cancellation flow works as expected.
  4. Handling of Special Requirements: We review the implementation of any specific carrier rules or enterprise features, such as seat selection, amendments or discount cards.

Accreditation Process

The accreditation process follows three main steps:

  1. Preparation: Before the review can begin, you will need to provide our team with access to a stable testing/staging environment where your full integration is deployed. Please ensure your team is prepared to walk us through the complete booking flow.
  2. Review & Feedback: The Distribusion team will conduct a series of end-to-end tests covering searches, bookings, and cancellations. We also check our internal logs to see how the requests are being performed from your end. After this review, we will share a detailed report containing a list of critical issues that must be resolved before launch, suggested improvements to enhance the user experience and points requiring clarification from your team.
  3. Carrier Accreditation: If any carriers in your list requires a separate review of the integration we'll let you know and coordinate this process.
  4. Launch: Once your team has addressed all the required blockers, our team will perform a final check. After confirmation, we will provide the production credentials to your main contact for security reasons. At this point, we strongly recommend you perform a few final test bookings in the live environment to ensure everything is working as expected.
