Carrier Contracting

One of the primary benefits of integrating with Distribusion is gaining access to a vast network of ground transport carriers through a single API and a single commercial agreement. This model significantly simplifies the process for retailers, removing the need to negotiate and maintain individual contracts with numerous different operators, which saves considerable time, legal resources, and operational overhead.

General vs. Direct Agreements

For the majority of carriers, access to their inventory is granted directly through your general contract with Distribusion. However, a few specific carriers, particularly major national rail operators, may require retailers to sign an additional, direct agreement to access their content.

A direct contract might be required for SNCF, DB, ÖBB or Trenitalia, depending on your specific case. We strongly recommend you contact your Partnership Manager for detailed information regarding your specific situation and the carriers you wish to sell.
